Refund Policy

We have a no return policy on wax shots/melts, soaps and candles. If you are not happy with your candle, wax melts, or soap, please contact us for a store credit, refund, or replacement. All other items, such as wax warmers can be returned within 30 days of delivery. We will ask for photo proof of the damaged or defective item. There are no returns, refunds, or replacements for Fragrance Story Samples as they are meant to be for fragrance reference only. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@hempwickcandle.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as candles, wax shots, or soaps), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.


Exchanges 
Exchanges are not permitted for candles, wax shots, or soap products. If you have a non returnable item, please contact us for further assistance. Wax warmers that are defective and the return approved can be exchanged or refunded. 


Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. There are no refunds for lost or damaged products, but by contacting us we can issue a store credit in the amount of your purchase, or an item replacement. We also insure every order through our shipping carriers, and can file a claim if your order is lost or damaged in shipping. We may need documentation from you to file the claim. 

*We do not accept refunds or returns on international orders due to unpaid taxes or duty. Customer is responsible for paying taxes and duty upon delivery of their item. International customers will be responsible for all other returns or exchange shipping costs.
